ACADEMIC TRAVEL:

2015 – Puerto Rico- Art+Bio Collaborative- Studies the endemic flora and fauna with biologists. Created art installations, drawings and sculptures on site using local materials.

2012 – ​Czech Republic- Enrolled in art courses at the University of West Bohemia in Pilzen and toured art museums in Prague.

2009-2010 – ​Indonesia- Lived in Jakarta. Enrolled in courses to study ceramics, batik and Wayang puppet woodcarving.Traveled extensively with the Indonesian Heritage Society.

2003 – ​Peru- Studied Pre-Columbian and contemporary ceramics, textiles and architecture of Cusco, Lima and the Amazon.

1998 – ​France- Studied art and culture with a summer French language class.
